How Roof-Able works
Type your address and see up to 3 roofers side by side, each with good, better and best prices. Pick the one you want to hear from. No sales calls: nobody gets your number until you choose.
Roof-Able is a place to compare roofing estimates. Independent local roofing companies do the work; we find them, check their license and insurance, and put their prices in front of you.
Type your address
Then two quick questions: how many stories, and what’s on the roof now. You don’t need to know the roof size.
Watch what to expect
Sizing and pricing the roof takes a moment. While it runs, a half-minute explainer shows how to read the estimates you’re about to see. You can skip it once your prices are ready.
Compare up to 3 roofers
Each roofer: who owns the company, their Google rating, and their good, better and best prices. The Details button beside each price opens the materials, the warranties and how the price adds up.
Pick who calls you
Choose the roofer you want to hear from. Only that roofer gets your name and number, and they call within one business day to confirm the price.
How we size your roof
We use, in this order: the size you give us; a measurement a roofer has already taken at your address through Roof-Able; a measurement from above; and otherwise an estimate from the house size, the number of stories and the pitch. The estimate always says which one it used. The roofer you pick confirms the size from their own measurement report, and if that changes the price, you see the new price first and can say no.
What we check
Every company’s insurance documents, and for roofing work its Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) license, are uploaded, read by a person and given an expiration date. Nothing shows as current unless we’ve verified it and it hasn’t expired. When one lapses, that roofer stops showing up until the renewal is on file. A roofer’s card links to the CCB’s own license search so you can check for yourself. (Roof rejuvenation is not roofing work under a license: those companies are shown on their insurance.)
Who you’re dealing with
Your agreement for the work, and your payment, are with the roofer you choose. Roof-Able is paid by the roofer. If something isn’t right, tell us: we’d rather pull a bad operator than lose your trust.
